Attend a Group Meditation

“Group meditation is like a castle which protects spiritual novices as well as veteran meditators against the besieging armies of delusion. Meditating together increases the Self-realization of each member of the group, by the law of invisible vibratory exchange of spiritual magnetism.”

—Paramhansa Yogananda

Please join us whenever you wish, dropping in for meditations before work, or on Friday evenings.  Ananda meditations start as Yogananda did, with a prayer and chanting and end with a few moments of healing prayers. The meditation itself is silent, and once the meditation begins, people are encouraged not to enter and leave. Both beginning and experienced meditators are welcome. There are often some pillows and meditation benches you may use. If you have your own favorite meditation seating, you are very welcome to bring it along. For more information, please call us at (916) 321-0891, or just drop by.
