Ananda Sunday Service with Jivan and Devaki: Truth Invites; It Never Commands

You can attend Ananda Sacramento’s Sunday Services live at our temple in Rancho Cordova (address below) or join us online HERE.

Inspired by the meditation tradition of the East and the ancient teachings of mystical Christianity, Ananda Sunday Service includes inspirational readings from both the Bible and the Bhagavad Gita.

Topic: Truth Invites; It Never Commands

God never coerces: He invites us to live in such a way that we find fulfillment in ourselves, for we each have the freedom to choose between self-created darkness or the light of our true soul-nature.

Join Jivan and Devaki this Sunday as they explore the inner call to aspire to the heights—while seeking that aspiration in harmony with our own nature, not in imitation of others.

These services include music, group chanting and meditation, an inspirational talk drawn from the writings of Paramhansa Yogananda, and a unique blessing ceremony called the Festival of Light.
