The Art of Super Relaxation – A Forest Hermitage Retreat with Dr Michelle
June 13 @ 8:30 am – 4:00 pm

While we know what relaxation is, do we know how to achieve it?
During this experiential retreat, we will explore:
- Why do we experience fatigue? Is it from an actual lack of energy?
- Does our energy come only from the food we eat, the vitamins we take, or the kale we put in our smoothies?
- What is the difference between doing something with strained willpower or calm willingness?
- How do we rise above life’s challenges without tension?
- We will experience a variety of techniques that you can do on your own at home to learn to relax at will, such as working with the breath, simple tensing-and-relaxing of different body parts, visualizations, affirmations, meditation, gentle yoga, and a few more gems! All participants will receive a mini e-book with the techniques and teachings of the class.
We’ll meet at 8:30 a.m. at the church parking lot to carpool to the Forest Hermitage. The retreat will end around 4 pm and we will return to the church parking lot a little after 5 pm.
“The Forest Hermitage is a magical place for all of us. The retreats are a wonderful day of self-help, camaraderie, meeting new friends, and service. Plus, I just love being out in Nature!!” -LG
