Healthy Vegetarian Cooking Retreat with Chandi – REGISTRATION CLOSED

Whether or not you are new to vegetarian cuisine, you’ll find this retreat to be a fun and inspiring exploration into the art of healthy plant-based cooking.
Chandi will share the practical techniques that are needed to create quick, simple, and delicious vegetarian meals, using ingredients easily found in neighborhood grocery stores; meals that can be prepared in 30 minutes or less.
We’ll take an integrative approach that encourages spiritual awareness and gratitude in the preparation of our meals.
Please bring your personal chef knives if you have them.
Chandi Holliman is a trained chef who began teaching cooking classes in 1997. She he focuses on healing and energy-sustaining foods, based on the principles of yoga taught by Paramhansa Yogananda.
We’ll meet at the temple parking lot at 8:30 am to carpool up to the Forest Hermitage.
$45 to $100 Sliding Scale Fee for the Day, which includes vegetarian lunch, as well as coffee and snacks throughout the day.
