Learn to Meditate

Meditation has been practiced by men and women seeking inner peace and joy throughout the ages. Through meditation, we contact and experience the innate joy of the soul. It deepens our sense of purpose and fulfillment in life. 

Ananda is one of the oldest and most respected meditation centers
in the Sacramento region. Through its centers around the world,
thousands have developed successful and rewarding daily
meditation practices.

Wednesday evenings, May 7, 14, & 21. 7 – 8 PM.

This class series offers the student an opportunity to not only learn the techniques of meditation but also to experience the practice of meditation under the guidance of a qualified teacher over the course of several weeks. 

In this class you will learn proven techniques for relaxing the body, focusing the mind, and expanding awareness, thus experiencing peace of mind, profound joy, and a sense of connection with all life. 

This class is the first step for those interested in the practice of kriya yoga as described by Paramhansa Yogananda in his book Autobiography of a Yogi.
